This U-shaped corner foam profile measures 25mm internal opening by 35mm outer width and is specifically designed to fit over the corners of products, providing protection at the most vulnerable points during handling and transit. Manufactured from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) foam containing a minimum of 95% recycled raw material, certified to UNE-15343.
Corner profiles are pre-formed to sit squarely at right-angle intersections, wrapping the U shape around a corner edge in a single piece. This reduces the need for multiple straight profile sections to achieve corner coverage and improves presentation on the packaged product. The closed-cell foam absorbs impact energy and prevents scratching or chipping at corners — often the first point of contact during drops or collisions. Moisture resistant and non-abrasive. Compatible with LDPE mechanical recycling streams.
