This U-shaped foam profile measures 100mm internal opening by 120mm outer width and is manufactured from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) foam containing a minimum of 95% recycled raw material, certified to UNE-15343. At this larger size, it is specifically designed to provide edge and surface protection for bulkier products including large appliances, worktops, and heavy furniture during storage and transit.
The U-shape wraps snugly around product edges without adhesives, cushioning against shocks, vibration, and abrasion throughout the supply chain. The closed-cell LDPE structure resists moisture and maintains its protective profile under repeated compression. Its high-tensile construction withstands being pulled, stretched, and bent into position while retaining integrity over time. Compatible with LDPE mechanical recycling streams.
